Violin is the highest voice in the stringed instruments. They often have higher and faster music to play than the other instruments. |

Viola is played exactly like the violin but is a few inches larger. It is famous for the low, rich voice that often plays the harmony parts in the orchestra. |

Cello is about the size of a guitar and the performer must sit in a chair to play it. It is the tenor voice of the orchestra and often has lyrical melodies that students love. |

Double Bass is the lowest voice in the orchestra instruments and probably the most versatile instrument. It is found in orchestra, rock bands, country music, and jazz bands to name a few. |

Harp adds beauty and character to the orchestra. Students must be independently motivated and have had a minimum of 2 year previous piano study. |
